Hey all you churchgoers -
I’m calling you out! - You are in an ocean!
You are treading water instead of being sowers!
But the Spirit’s got you – to put you in motion!
Treading takes a lot of energy
Waving your arms, circling your feet...
A complete distraction by the Enemy
To keep you centralized, causing defeat.
Now picture actually swimming toward (Heaven’s) shore,
Scooping up floundering souls along the way.
That’s the Spirit! Directing you, on your mission core.
Dive into the Word to be fit today!
Every Church service is a family gathering
Young & old, some more steeped in knowledge,
Some with enthusiasm, others model “parenting”.
So, lean in! Get off the ledge!
Out there, you are in an ocean of unbelievers
And it is within your power to initiate change.
Tap into your church family, receivers, retrievers and relievers -
And dare to reach all within your range.
Since we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also be guided. Galatians 5:25 (International Standard version)
